Whispers From Home is a watercolor and collage series that explores Taiwanese culture through the playful presence of cats in traditional festivals and places. By pairing watercolor’s fluidity with the tactile texture of shredded paper, the work reflects the fragmentation and reconstruction of memory after migration. The gentle hues evoke the passage of time, while repurposed paper scraps symbolize how memories, once fragile or discarded, gain new meaning across cultural and temporal distances.
