This watercolor collage captures the relaxed and cozy atmosphere of a spring afternoon. The scene was inspired by a mobile game I used to play, where players could decorate their own homes. This particular corner, with its serene ambiance and beautiful view, was my favorite—I often found myself lingering there for an entire afternoon. Beyond the game, this piece is also influenced by Chinese tea culture, which has been deeply woven into Taiwanese traditions. Enjoying tea, especially in pleasant weather, is a cherished ritual among the older generations.

To evoke a sense of nostalgia, I incorporated shredded paper to construct the tatami floor, cherry blossom-adorned walls, and wooden branches. By recycling and painting these materials, I sought to bring back faded childhood memories. Soft, light colors further enhance the gentle and heartwarming atmosphere of the scene, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in this tranquil moment.
